“I want to win something with this great squad,” he was quoted on Osasu Obayiuwana’s X handle.

“I want to give Nigeria something that they will remember. I’m giving everything to come home with the [AFCON] trophy.”

Friday’s quarter-final tie will be the first time the Eagles will face Angola at the AFCON.

The Angolans reached the quarter-finals after defeating Namibia 3-0 at the weekend.
